More and more people are starting to realize that humans are slowly squeezing the life out of this planet. It seems there is little that the individual can do. If you think that is the case, you are very much mistaken. Small things in everyday life can cause a massive impact on the collective. The keeping of exotic animals has long been a past time for many, but few realize the effects that they have on the environment. Saying no to wild caught animals and not supporting enterprises that exploit habitats is a duty of every nature lover, no to every lover of life itself, after all, without them, we cannot survive either. This website is designed to be a guide as to species of invertebrate animals mainly focusing on those kept in the terrarium hobby. Each and every hobbyist can take part in educating those around them about the effects of man on the micro-habitats around us. By making the public more aware perhaps we can preserve the species that are under threat and stop the rapid rate of global extinction. Please make full use of this site and share your knowledge. In the mean time, enjoy the wonderful world of invertebrates.
